My projects in the marketing@media programme
I was in France for a whole year because my most important project, a feasibility study of an e-commerce platform and the launch of the associated website, took longer than the originally planned six months. Afterwards they offered me a job, which I happily accepted, because I really like it here at France Loisirs. That is why all of my projects have been at France Loisirs in Paris – which shows that the path of each participant is planned individually.
My first day on the job
The reception I received at France Loisirs was fantastic: I had already met my mentor and my direct supervisor, who explained the basics of my project to me and briefed me on my workflow. So my first week started with many meetings – where we really had lots of fun, because I created interesting French words…
Tell us an off-the-wall idea that you sometimes think about: what if…
you could jump into and out of books, as is possible in some stories? Then I would have lived my youth as an Indian warrior and would now be travelling between the centuries.
How I made my way to the media world of DirectGroup
During my studies I was fascinated by the new media. So after graduating I started working for AOL Europe – which formerly belonged to Bertelsmann. After 4 years as an executive assistant, product manager for Community Products and later project team leader for TV-over-IP applications, I thought it would be nive to get back into marketing and gain some experience abroad.
As good friends of mine had already had great experiences with the m@m programme, I sent in my application and shortly afterwards was invited to start in France.
